Carbon Balanced Travel STI develops carbon neutral tourism programs and customized web-based carbon calculators for both businesses and destinations. We also offer the best of the best’ domestic and international carbon offset projects – all of which are verified and certified by independent third parties.
Advisory Services, Education and Training STI’s executive management team has over 30 years of experience in sustainable tourism development. Primary offerings include sustainability assessments and planning, carbon management solutions, standards development and implementation, and market access. We also offer capacity building and training programs, ranging from executive education and semester-long courses to distance learning and webinars.
Travelers Giving Back™ STI helps companies establish corporate philanthropy programs that align with their mission, providing their clients with opportunities to make small donations to local grassroots projects that benefit the environment, preserve local culture, and promote community self-reliance. We also implement philanthropy programs at a destination level, which mobilize the travel industry’s investment in local projects and motivate travelers to become stewards of the destination.
